Shuey’s Life

I rode up to Highlands with DH today. I wanted to check out some of the houses up there that he builds. I love going to these houses because they’re all multi-million dollar homes. I normally go up there a few times during each build to take photos for DH’s boss.

The one they’re building right now is absolutely gorgeous. It sits on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere. There are no neighbors, and the road into the place is horrible, but it’s so secluded. In the end this house is estimated to be worth about $7 million before furnishing it. I’ll hopefully be able to share some photos in a bit. I just need to get them off my SD card. Then I might need to edit some of them.

The house is nowhere near finished. The basic structure is built, and they just got the roof put on. It’s going to be months and months before this house is finished, but that’s because DH’s company doesn’t slap them together. They take their time and make sure everything is perfect.
