Shuey’s Life

I’m so happy right now. A very close friend of ours dropped off the radar a few months back. He’s been dealing with drug problems for about 5 years, and he finally decided to take the steps to get clean. He dropped out of touch with everyone…good and bad, and cut off all ties until he had been sober for 6 weeks. He called today to get back in touch with us to let us know.

You don’t know how good this makes me feel because I’ve been trying to help this friend get off drugs for so long. He was right there with Hubby when Hubby was on meth, and it was very sad when Hubby got clean but his friend wouldn’t hear of it.

I’m crossing my fingers. I hope he can make this work.
