No wonder SC is #2 in the nation for women who are killed by men.  It’s quite obvious to me that local law enforcement really doesn’t do anything about a lot of the domestic violence situations.  Take Army Boy’s case.  My friend filed charges against him over a year ago, yet last month she was told a court date still hadn’t been set.  Then today she got a call telling her all charges against Army Boy had been dropped.  An hour later Army Boy called her saying he’s coming home. He’s thinks it’s perfectly fine to move right back into her life, and she wants nothing to do with him.

What happened to notifying her of all court proceedings?  What happened to the fact that he was facing felony charges for domestic assault with a deadly weapon?  The cops just up and dropped the charges?  It’s bullshit!  She’s staying with me tonight because she’s totally freaked out and doesn’t know what to do.
