Shuey’s Life

Wow.  This has definitely been an interesting week, and it’s only just begun.  Today is definitely a Monday, and if it’s any indication of how the rest of the week will go…it’s going to totally suck.

We  got really bad news today.  A close friend of the family was moved to Hospice, and they only expect him to live a few more days at most.  Mr. Addis is a wonder 87 year old man who has been a party of our family since before I can remember.  Growing up he and his wife were our only neighbors.  They lived directly across the road from us, and  they were like a 3rd set of grandparents to us.  His wife passed away about a year ago, and now it’s sad to know Mr. Addis is leaving us as well.

Receiving that news pretty much ruined my day because I can’t get him off my mind.  We just love him so much, and it’s definitely like losing one of our grandparents.
